Material Handling Logo

Pramac TX 10/16 Straddle Semi-Electric Stacker | 1000kg | 1600mm Lift | 1000mm Forks

The Pramac TX 10/16 Straddle Semi-Electric Stacker | 1000kg | 1600mm Lift | 1000mm Forks is a versatile pedestrian stacker designed for lifting and positioning loads where adjustable fork spacing and straddle-leg width are required.

With a maximum load capacity of 1,000kg, electrohydraulic lifting and a nominal lift height of 1510mm, the TX 10/16 Straddle is well suited to warehouses, workshops, production areas and handling applications involving different pallet and load sizes.

Manual Drive & Electrohydraulic Lift

The TX 10/16 Straddle combines manual traction with powered electrohydraulic lifting.

The operator manually positions the machine, while the 1.6kW electric lift motor raises the load, reducing physical effort compared with a fully manual stacker.

This makes it a practical compromise between simple manual handling and powered lifting.

1,000kg Load Capacity

The stacker has a maximum rated capacity of 1,000kg, making it suitable for a wide range of professional material-handling tasks.

Its sturdy chassis and wide straddle-leg configuration help provide stability when lifting and positioning heavy loads.

Adjustable Fork Width

One of the key advantages of the TX 10/16 Straddle is its adjustable fork spacing.

The overall fork width can be adjusted from 230mm to 790mm, allowing the machine to accommodate loads of different widths.

This gives the stacker significantly greater versatility than a fixed-fork model.

Adjustable Straddle Legs

The distance between the straddle legs can also be adjusted.

The internal leg spacing ranges from 965mm to 1270mm, while the overall rear width ranges from 1199mm to 1504mm.

This allows the machine to straddle a wide variety of pallets and load bases.

1000mm Fork Length

The forks measure 1000mm long, with each fork measuring 100mm wide and 35mm thick.

This narrower fork construction supports the adjustable fork-width arrangement and makes the machine suitable for handling a broad range of load configurations.

Up to 1600mm Lift Height

The technical data lists a nominal lift height of 1510mm, with the TX 10/16 model designation corresponding to a lift range of approximately 1600mm.

This provides useful lifting capability for low-level stacking, production-line loading and positioning loads at working height.

Stable Straddle Design

The straddle arrangement provides a wide support base around the load.

This makes the TX 10/16 particularly useful where conventional pallet forks cannot enter beneath the load or where additional lateral stability is required.

Ergonomic Tiller

An ergonomic tiller provides straightforward steering and directional control.

The steering system acts on both rear wheels, helping provide predictable manoeuvring during load positioning.

Foot Parking Brake

A foot-operated brake performs the parking brake function.

This allows the operator to secure the machine conveniently before lifting or lowering a load.

Start Key & Battery Isolator

The TX 10/16 Straddle incorporates a start key that performs both switching and emergency isolation functions.

It switches the machine on and off and can completely interrupt battery power, preventing unintended fork lifting.

Integrated Battery & Charger

The machine is supplied with an integrated battery and charger.

The lift system operates on 12V electrical power, providing a simple and self-contained charging arrangement.

Protective Battery Cover

A protective cover provides easy access to the battery compartment.

This helps simplify routine maintenance and inspection.

Rubber Steering Wheels

The front steering/stabilizer wheels are rubber and measure 200 x 50mm.

Rubber provides useful grip and rolling performance on suitable warehouse and industrial flooring.

Nylon Rear Rollers

The rear load rollers are manufactured from nylon and measure 82 x 70mm.

Two rear rollers are fitted.

Controlled Lifting Performance

Lifting speed is 0.09 m/s when laden and 0.12 m/s when unladen.

This provides efficient powered lifting while maintaining controlled operation.

Controlled Lowering

Lowering speed is listed at 0.4 m/s laden and 0.1 m/s unladen.

This allows loads to be lowered efficiently during routine handling operations.

415kg Service Weight

The TX 10/16 Straddle has a service weight of 415kg including battery.

This substantial machine weight contributes to stability when lifting and positioning loads.

Practical Manoeuvrability

The stacker has a turning radius of 1790mm and an aisle requirement of 2588mm.

Its adjustable straddle width means it requires more working space than a narrow fixed-leg stacker, but in return it provides much greater load-handling flexibility.

Versatile Straddle Stacking Solution

By combining a 1,000kg load capacity, adjustable forks, adjustable straddle legs, electrohydraulic lifting and approximately 1600mm lift capability, the Pramac TX 10/16 Straddle provides a highly versatile solution for handling loads that cannot easily be managed by a conventional fixed-fork stacker.
