Terms & Conditions
IMPORTANT — GENERATED TEMPLATE: These terms and conditions are a generated template and must be reviewed by a solicitor before the website launches.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by Leader Pro Ltd. (trading as Material Handling) ("we", "us", "our") via the website material-handling.uk. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before placing your order.
2. Ordering
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. When you place an order, you will receive an order acknowledgement email. This is not acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is unavailable, if we identify a pricing error, or if we are unable to obtain payment authorisation.
3. Pricing and VAT
All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling (GBP). VAT at the standard UK rate (currently 20%) is applied at checkout. The price you pay is the price shown at the time of checkout.
We take all reasonable care to ensure pricing accuracy, but errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it.
4. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely. We do not store your full card details.
5. Delivery
Delivery terms are set out in our Delivery Information page. Delivery timescales are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Larger items are delivered on a pallet to the kerbside. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
6. Cancellation and Returns
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided the goods are unused and in their original condition and packaging. To cancel, please contact us at info@material-handling.uk. Full details, including conditions for powered equipment, are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
7. Warranty
Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty from the date of delivery; the warranty length and terms for each product are stated on the product page. Warranties do not cover damage arising from misuse, overloading, lack of maintenance, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
8. Safe Use
Material handling equipment must be operated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and rated capacities. Never exceed the stated safe working load, and ensure operators are trained appropriately — workplace use is subject to health and safety legislation including the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with your order is limited to the purchase price of the goods. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Contact
