Returns & Refunds Policy

30-Day Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Material Handling. If for any reason you wish to return an item, you may do so within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions below.

Conditions for Return

  • Items must be returned unused and in their original condition and packaging.
  • Powered equipment (electric pallet trucks and stackers) must not have been put into service — equipment that has been used can only be returned if faulty, under warranty.
  • Items must include all components, accessories and documentation as originally supplied.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please email info@material-handling.uk with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for the return

Our team will respond within 2 working days with return authorisation and instructions. Please do not return items without first obtaining a return authorisation — unauthorised returns may not be accepted. For items that arrived on a pallet, we will arrange a suitable collection; the goods must be repackaged and ready for the carrier.

Return Carriage

Unless the item is faulty or was supplied in error, the cost of returning the goods (or our collection charge for palletised items) is payable by the customer and will be confirmed when the return is authorised.

Refund Timescales

Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will process your refund within 5–7 working days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow a further 3–5 working days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If you receive an item that is damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt by emailing info@material-handling.uk or calling 0800 222 9069. We will arrange a free collection and a replacement at no cost to you.

If a fault develops after use, the item is covered by the manufacturer's warranty — contact us and we will help you register the claim with the manufacturer's UK service network.

Exclusions

  • Items returned outside the 30-day window will not be accepted.
  • Powered equipment that has been put into service (and is not faulty) cannot be returned.
  • Special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.
